No offense, but so far the “go hide in the corner out of fear side” who claim to be experts listening to science are batting well below the Mendoza line.

We were told to shut everything down to flatten the curve. Then wear masks and social distance. Then states open up completely ditch the **** masks and death rates go down. They also told us there was absolutely no way the virus was the product of the lab in wuhan.... and now, looky there looks like the lab leaked it.

So my belief in science is dwindling. I’ll just believe what I see, and what I see is folks weren’t dropping like flies.

Truthfully a flat to shrinking death rate was to be expected. Car accidents are a significant % of deaths annually. And nobody was driving. But Covid didn’t make up the difference either

I agree with everything you just said. Point was misinformation does not beget misinformation.

Then you missed my point entirely which was all of these positions were discredited with arguments similar to yours with “that’s not peer reviewed”, “that article wasn’t actually published by the university,” or blatant personal character attacks on the researcher.

It’s to the point that when the attack is launched I interpret it as credibility to the research being attacked.

You forgot she is not a medical doctor - "As assistant director for the Master’s in Applied Economics program at Hopkins, Briand is neither a medical professional nor a disease researcher." No S Sherlock. She is an economist who is an expert in evaluating numbers and data. She did not weigh in on anything medical. Just looked at the data and said it doesn't fit the narrative. But yet our "leaders" listen to fraud Fauci on how to run the economy. People have lost their ever loving minds and any common sense.

Meanwhile ignoring that Fauci supported the research in spite of the risk of release ... and oh by the way, he is personally invested in the vaccine, but let’s just follow his lead cause he’s credible and has nothing to gain

People used to ask questions and hold "experts" accountable for causing harm. Now they are held up as heroes by the leftist media and their sheep followers.
