    We're toast

Reparations being paid in Evanston, IL & Oakland, CA giving monthly stimulus checks to POC(and non-taxable income at that), but no white folk allowed.

A Chicago suburb is to distribute money to those who suffered housing discrimination.

Only people of color in the California city are eligible to receive the basic income, which they can spend however they see fit.

    Stupidity at it's finest.
"No rules on spending it" as per the article.
Too bad you can't buy stock in crack.

The way things are going, the left is setting up for whites to be able to sue for race discrimination. Funny thing is, they are too arrogant to realize it.

I have no problem with it. The citizens chose this through their elected officials. That doesn't mean there won't be consequences. Just as these knuckleheads are within their rights to pass these policies, people and businesses that oppose them are free to leave - and they will. Then there won't be any tax payers for these policies and they will go away and the businesses and people won't return. It's all so predictable.

Am I so cynical that I have come full circle to naive? This seems like strategic pandering. Reparations are the crown jewel of race demands, and by making them, are the cities now in a position to say “you’ve been made whole, now you’re on your own”?

I don’t know. There’s so many social experiments going on that it seems like things are unraveling, but I somehow feel like it’s just new frosting on the same old cake.

                    Nah

But what they are doing is setting it up so Whites can be denied employment, travel, scorned, robbed, raped, beaten, killed with no repercussions.

Which is, by definition, race discrimination.

Giving away 300K per month isnt going to solve anything. It will however put them further in debt and make the white guilt folks feel better about themselves. What a joke.

And apparently ok fine even in Congressional seat selections.

IMO, she shouldn't be able to simply "back off" her vow to deny employment based on race, color, creed, or sexual preference. What would have happened to a "White" senator who "vowed to vote against any appointee who wasn't White, Male, heterosexual?"

That’s exactly my point. The two congresswomen is why I made my first comment. Straight up, in your face, race discrimination.

One more thing you can put on the list of “thinks that will never happen” that are actually happening.

Keep you head in the sand america, everything is going to be just fine!
