Is the senate moving forward with the impeachment?

Wouldnt this offer Trump a platform to present all of his supposed evidence and depositions in a public manner and expose both sides? Essentially put this thing to bed once and for all?

Pelosi has already indicated that after that trial, they will make a move to charge and arrest Trump for insurrection and murder of the 5 people who died. I knew this was going to happen.

I'm still at a complete loss of understanding - how is it that our country was founded on the ability of people to rule over the government, founded on the ability to fight oppressive government, and break the shackles that someone could be charged with insurrection. Once all other options have been exhausted, don't we have a responsibility to act by what ever means necessary? And, more directly, how is that insurrection when what antifa is doing is not??

Pelosi is going to send the second set of impeachment papers to the Senate on Monday.Who knows what Comrade McConnell and the Rinos will do.

Dershowitz has said he will represent Trump, BUT he has also said it is unconstitutional to impeach him. We shall see.

The timeline on everything that happened at the Capitol on the 6th has shown that Trump had just started speaking when the 2 pipe bombs were found and still speaking when the Capitol doors were opened by the Capitol police to let folks in or should I say they were breached by ALL and only Trump supporters! LOL!

I thought Pelosi was smarter and more strategic then this. This is a bad play, she’s letting it get personal. First, there’s NO WAY either the Dems or Reps will let Trump or any of his family remain eligible to hold office. They have to politically neutralize him. If the feds try to impeach and lock him up, folks are gonna wig out. The Manhattan DA has already hinted that they have a stack of Trump indictments, some for stuff he allegedly did before he was even elected. They should pass the buck to the SDNY if they’re that afraid of Trump. Then they could at least fake like they’re at arms length from the whole mess. I honestly doubt he has any intention of running again anyway. He’s got $200 million and 70 million votes to play kingmaker with. Dems are overplaying their hand already.

The military is waiting for this. Biden already removed all armed forces flags from the oval office. This government is illegitimate and the military has the duty to remove them. I say it happens, or, the civil war everyone was afraid of will kick off.

According to this article MOST modern Presidents did not based on archive photos of the office. Exceptions being JFK, LBJ and Nixon, who all displayed battle flags. Eisenhower only displayed the Army battle flag.

Did some perusing of the Q followers earlier. They still think military is the only way...but what if? What if Trump overturns this nightmare by getting impeached?
