Being pleased with what he has done and liking who the man is are two completely different things. I've never liked the man. Last night only reinforced my low opinion of him. But I have been incredibly pleased with most of his policies and results since taking office. I never dreamed he would actually do most of the things he's done that I have liked. He can't help but putting his foot in his mouth in the process of getting something good done still, but at least he's getting some good things accomplished. I will definitely vote for him in November because of that.

But my opinion of him as a man hasn't changed a bit. It's possible to be a fiery and relentless champion of good causes without being a complete *** (see Ronald Reagan for an example). I keep wishing Trump could figure that out, but it's just not ever gonna happen for him, sadly. He is who he is. I'll take his results over the alternative for now. But I sure do hope and pray that our nation can somehow heal and come together and move back in the right direction again. I don't really see how that is possible right now, other than with divine intervention. God help us, because the inmates are in charge of the asylum currently.

They look, act and talk as though they are extremely desperate.
The Democrats have to be confronted over their lies and Trump isn't going to let them openly lie about him without rebuttal.
The people want a fighter to beat the Democrats but then they want to gripe on how he throws his jab even though it's effective and winning him the fight.

I listened to a recording of the debate on my return drive from a New Mexico scouting trip.
The future debates need to be canceled. There are no undecided voters to be moved. Further debates will only result in the debasing of the office of President of the United States.

Well said Shane. It’s amazing to me that logical thinking (allegedly) grown men can’t separate the two issues.

I for one couldn’t care less what he’s done in his private life, that’s between him and GOD on judgement day. I also don’t care how he speaks or acts, especially when being attacked. I want someone with a backbone up there to shove it back in the media and the lib’s face and even grind it around a bit. He does that well.

What I care about is how the country will fare under his leadership. So far I’m pleased with the exception of he hasn’t controlled the defect or debt like I wanted him to. I also haven’t been happy with his bump stock ban and some of his language regarding guns but hopefully he learned his lesson on bump stocks. But I can look at the bigger overall picture.
