Are foot doctors doctors? Are chiropractor doctors doctors? You tell me.

Technically they are doctors. I usually don't think of them as real doctors myself. Just saying I know this one and he's not the typical quack chiro.

But, they are licensed professional care doctors and have earned the right to be called "doctor".

I sat on a Jury where a Chiropractor was questioned about his education since he had advertised himself as a Doctor. He got hammered pretty bad after admitting that he did.
Turned out that they are permitted to be called Practitioners of Chiropratic.
This was in 1992 if that makes any difference.
If they have a PHD in Chiropatic it may be a different story.
