Sir, all of the new data says it doesn’t qualify as Pandemic level. Each person exponentially has the potential to infect 59,000 people according to the fake news. Folk gotta realize the hype.

Using the protocol of doing nothing makes for far worse numbers.

“Go home and treat it like the flu“ is BS because if you show up with the flu the doctors can’t wait to give you early intervention.

I've never understood the point in getting the test. Seeing as there is no "cure", all you can do is treat the symptoms regardless of what's causing them.

I had to get tested to return back to work . Had a few kin folk along with my wife test positive. Was off 26 days .

I’m just wondering if a “ data scientist “ uses all the numbers or uses 80%or 90% since it’s a known fact that the test are not 100% accurate. Do they also take into account that many people have been tested more than once.
Also, do hospitals, medical examiner’s or anyone else have a vested interest in positive over negative results?

Get back 100 positives.

Since the test is 60% accurate you add on another 400 people

So total is 500 infected people trying to kill everyone else

I got tested partly because I wanted to come back to the office to work, and my boss said either wait 14 days, or get tested and come back when results come in.

I also partly got tested because I was going home for two weeks to visit my parents (60s and both have underlying conditions) and grandmother (96 and in a nursing home), and didn't want to be the cause of them getting sick.

And does your boss require you to get tested one time or once per week or???

That’s an acceptable answer if there is one.
My 75 yo FIL lives with me. I’m around it quite often (fire/EMS) as is my wife (she draws blood and x-rays). We haven’t been tested and have no plans to.
If we’re positive, then what? Nothing different than what we’ve been doing and that’s living our lives pre-covid style.
