I don’t what to think of this... not sure if there is some stuff we don’t know about but then again now we look weak in front of our enemies.... what do y’all think?

If he didnt go thru proper channels, which is what the Brass said, he should have been reprimanded. Relief of duty is extreme imho. -
Navy has zero tolerance for ship captains messing up. Chain of command only, no deviation. Don't announce that a US warship may not be combat ready or compromised. He had to go..Comment

Jumping chain of command in any branch of military will get you in mucho biggo trouble. I feel for him as all he wanted was his dumbazz higher ups to help his men but regulations are regulations.Comment

He effectively did more than a chinese torpedo.
He should be sentenced to death. Most young fighters will not be effected by this enough to jeopardize the battle group’s capabilities.Comment

Even a reprimand at that level is pretty much career ending. You have to be perfect at that level. Sucks...but it is what it is.Comment
