which was paid back... To this day, the US GUBMENT still has stock in GM thanks to Obama. GM ownership was given to the unions in part by Obama. Bush made loans... Obama forced ownership change, and many other public and private sector workers and retirees lost much of the value of their pensions because those pensions were heavily invested in a safe company like GM... Yea, Bush may have started it with loans (again that were paid back), but Obama took it to the next (socialistic) level and forced ownership change by the gubment...

Research and come back and say you are mistaken. Treasury sold it's remaining GM shares 12/9/2013. December 19 2008 Bush agreed to $24+ billion bailout of the auto industry using TARP funds. Obama did come back and fire GM executives in March of 2009 because the GM executives thought first priority of bailout should be to raise executive pay. Total loss to taxpayers was 10.2 billion. Now, cash for clunkers was an Obama era program through and through.

Glad we can agree on the origin. A loan is bailing someone or something out of financial trouble. I cannot find evidence that Bush"s loans were paid back because of what Obama did when entering office. I can't find data that is able to separate the original loan from O's bailout. All I can find is the 9 billion shortfall in paybacks. It is all socialistic and I do not condone bailouts of large companies one bit.

I wouldn’t miss them if they all became artificial reefs tomorrow. Not a bit of interest in getting on one of those things.

I'm right their with you MBV77, except I've been on one and only one. I have won 6 cruises through work. Went on the 1st, the next 5 I told them thanks but no thanks, give it to the next guy in line.

Cruises don't seem appealing to me in any way. If I wanna get drunk on a boat, I'll go fishin, and I'll decide when it's time to come back.

I’ve been all over the world on ships. It’s great for a few days but after that, it’s about as boring as watching paint dry.

                      What cruise line cancelled?

As far as I have read, they aren't cancelling cruises rather letting guests postpone their cruises if they want to.

A refund does not suffice. Many book these far out in advance and cannot get a refund for their flights, hotel stays etc.
