Confirmation Hearing

I think there are some things going on behind the scenes, but can’t put my finger on it.

President Trump hits back and hits back hard. But he is being very calm and uncharacteristically non partisan with this nomination being drug out. He’s the one who called for the fbi investigation yesterday afternoon. Something just tells me we are in for an October surprise of epic proportions.

He had no choice but to order the investigation . Without it they don’t have the votes to confirm.

I have a cousin that worked in Jimmy Carter’s administration she is a life long democrat. I have often wondered, knowing how she was raised, how she could support the dems. and their agenda.

To this day I cant figure it out and you cant discuss it with her or she loses her mind so I just avoid her at all cost.

It is hard to wrap your head around for sure.. I know.
I personally know people that should very well know better but they see black and I see white.. We see it completely and totally different... I'm not sure how it's possible with the facts given but it is what it is...

I really think the republican party needs to make a few big changes to their platform. They need to focus almost strictly on reducing the size of government, the economy, individual fiscal responsibilty, border security and the defense of our nation. Get away from most of the social issues and quit worrying about what folks do in the bedroom and if they want to smoke a joint. It is very hypocritical to be for smaller government, but then be in everybody's business about all these social issues. Makes it seem like the party of the old folks home. Focus almost solely on the issues I mentioned and they will get almost all of the independent's support. Not sure it will ever happen, but it needs to SOON. Otherwise that Blue Wave really will take over our country. The left is probably reproducing 3x faster than the right. It doens't take too long at that rate.

I think this is a win/win - investigation clears Kav and he gets confirmed as planned all along.

They wanted the proof, and now he will be cleared.

this will be a never ending cycle of b.s. being dumped onto him until the spineless repubs put their collective food down and tell the dems to GFY's.

You don’t have to reproduce when you have open borders but I mostly agree with you. Still have issues with legalizing drugs, seen too many people go south in a hurry due to all drugs be it pot or anything else.

Reproducing 3X faster??? heck I figured it would be higher than since all most of them do is sit at home and **** off all day.

I find it interesting that the media will move heaven and earth to investigate any inconsequential thing that ever happened to Brett Kavanaugh but we still know very little about his accuser. It's as if the media know she's nuttier than squirrel poop and actively avoids any inquiry into her background.

Well the illegals have to reproduce first and then their offspring turn into voters. At least by law. 3x was just a rough guesstimate. It may be much faster.

I don't feel too strongly about drugs but I'm for smaller government, including prisons. The way I see it folks are either going to do drugs are they aren't. The war on drugs seems to work about as well as the prohibition of alcohol. I'd rather people do drugs in my democratic capitalist country than my socialist country.

The FBI isn't going to just investigate BK they will investigate Ford too. We will see how willing she is to talk to the FIB and turn over documents..

Yep. I think once her drug use comes to light thinking might change but not for the Dems. Sure would be interesting to know if she was ever on Ketamine.

Maybe she will also admit to making up this story too. The FBI will only get the info that Ford and her lawyers give them voluntarily.

I think she or anyone else that makes this level of accusations with absolutely no proof should do jail time.. Character assassination to this degree should be illegal..

I just read that her multiple "GO FUND ME" sites are now up to $900,000.. That should be forfeited to the true victim. The one being falsely accused...

I've always thought that if the accuser is found to have made unsubstantiated/completely false allegations, then THEY should have to serve whatever sentence the accused would have if wrongly convicted.

So if I took it to court why should I be penalized because you were crafty in doing your dirt?

You ever had a sibling flip you the bird when your parents weren't looking? Yeah they did it but you couldn't proove it without a witness or surveillance cameras.

If TT has a well logged and documented 50yr history of being nothing but an upstanding citizen with 100’s of other people willing to vouch for him I’m not going to believe you. There are vengeful people in this world and I do believe she is one of them.

Just because you've been a cardinal in the Catholic church for the last 50 years doesn't mean you didn't touch little boys 55 - 60 years ago.
