I have not made up my mind yet, so I am not a "Nevertrumper". (By the way I think the title of this thread violates the stickie at the top of this forum related to name calling.) I will vote my conscience. If people do not vote their conscience, we will continue to be controlled by the big government R/D's. The only way anyone else becomes part of the process is by beginning to get an increasing percentage of the overall vote. It won't happen in one election, so casting your vote for the future may over weigh the risk of the current slight difference between one or the other of the two controlling parties being in power. When have the R's actually reduced the size or scope of government? With all of their use of the 2nd Amendment as a talking point, when have they actually reduced gun regulation? What have they done to actually reduce the deficit? Who started and grew the unconstitutional "Patriot Act" and the "Homeland Security" department. Anyway, I could go on, but I feel this thread was either started to stir the pot or to look for a bunch of cheerleaders, not for actual open discussion.
Take off the blinders people. This election is 99% about the constitution and the supreme court. Our rights and liberties are on the verge of extinction.
Beats me how people can cut off their own nose to spite their face.
X100. The "shallow, it's not fair, I didn't get my way approach" of this election is appalling.
The reality is that I will vote for the person I think will be good for the country. Unlike the many here who will vote for Trump only because they hate Hillary, I refuse to vote for him because I don't like him. End of story. I think he would be a terrible president.

Who makes the laws in this country? Who appoints Justices to the Supreme Court?
No, the word is in the title of the article. The title of the article is: Yes, #NeverTrumpers, You Are In Fact Morally Responsible for the Hillary Clinton Presidency You're Agitating For
This point has been brought up already, but being that we have an electoral college, it's not really true that not voting for Trump is a vote for Hilary. Texas should easily go to Trump. If Texas somehow ends up being a close race, Trump is probably screwed nationwide. So, when Trump wins Texas, he gets all the delegates, so the nevertrumpers votes don't matter.
Now, I certainly respect the folks that say "I'm a republican, and I will vote republican no matter what, even if the person running isn't who I would choose first." That's a fine philosophy to have.
Another way to think about it, and my personal view is that:
#1 - Texas is going to Trump by a fairly wide margin, so Trump losing my vote isn't going to matter. (I know that if 1 million people had that view and switched their vote to Hillary, it could swing the state to Hillary, and blah, blah, blah. I don't think there's any possibility that will happen, and I would think polling numbers would show that close to election time. If polling showed it to be a tight race, then maybe I would switch my vote to Trump).
#2 I feel like the republican party as a whole has screwed up this election and really been screwing around for the last 8 years. So, I would like to use my vote to send a message to the republican party. I think the best way to do that is to vote for someone else. If Trump does a little worse in Texas than predicted, and Hillary and Gary Johnson do a little better than predicted, maybe, just maybe the republican party leadership will think, "dang we are losing ground here, maybe next election we should make sure we get a candidate who isn't such a baffoon."
I'm sure my vote won't make any difference, but everyone who says not voting for Trump is a vote for Hillary is not looking at the big picture, in Texas anyway. Now if you live in a true battleground state, then your vote definitely counts.
As I see it DJT had better start giving us affirmative reasons to vote FOR him and not just against HRC because the down ballot races will determine the legislative check on the Executive branch no matter who wins the Big office.
He needs the base of the party energized to not just vote but also get out and work for his campaign and so far all he's done is make us question his character.
I agree but I feel that the time to do that is during the primaries. You slap the GOP in the face and make them wake up. We almost pulled it off with Cruz. We came up short. I'll certainly try again next time we get the chance.
I just don't feel during the general election is the right time to be messing around with so much at stake. I'll hold my nose again (ugh!) and then try again next primary cycle.

True enough. I tend to agree with you, but my feeling is that Trump should win Texas pretty easily even without my vote. If polling close to election time showed it to be a close race I would vote for Trump. Of course, I know polls can be wrong.
