And this is REAL agenda of the liberals that make these plans - keeping more folks dependent on Mother Government. The other liberal sheep don't know this is the plan and actually think they are doing something noble - paying these poor people a livable wage. It is a really sad state that we are in. I don't see the future voters getting more educated on the real issues any time soon. Things will have to get a LOT worse before they get better.

If they were truly interested in helping people get out of the destructive poverty cycle we have they would do several things like; mandate civic involvement/community service for those on government assistance, restructure the welfare system, mandate/heavily encourage job training programs for those on assistance, etc.

The point is, raising the minimum wage sounds nice and "feels good", but it isn't going to accomplish its stated purpose.

Raise minimum wage as high as you want. There are still no laws for minimum hours worked.

Yep! A lot of that happened due to Obamacare as well.

It's not just about the Minimum Wage. It's the fact he lied. He either lied about what he said during the campaign, or he lied about what he said this week. One way or the other, he lied. And no surprise it came just a few days after he became the "presumptive" nominee. One of many, many to come between now and November.
