Trump is doing to the MSM what they are trying to do to him and every other conservative only in a much simpler way. So simple in fact that liberals can't even comprehend what he's doing. He has played them like a fine violin.

As for who owns the media - it is a who's who list of the wealthiest conglomerates and most powerful individuals in this country. Curiously enough, even the WSJ (Murdoch/Fox) has been critical of Trump. Point is they could all tamp down the anti-Trump rhetoric and propaganda. This goes deeper than thus liberal media bias.
And it didn't start after he was elected. They started going after him before he made his candidacy official. That included labeling him a racist and the distortion of whatever he said to make him look racist - hark back to "those illegally crossing our southern border today...….murders, rapist....." and the media portraying him as saying that about all immigrants or even all Mexicans.
As for the swamp, let's get real. Look at the people he surrounded himself and appointed to cabinet positions. He no more exposed the swamp much less cleaned it out. Heck, he got out there and wallowed in it with the rest of them.
If you want to glorify the man and ignore how slimy he is on the basis of he's better than the alternative, that is your right. But for me, just because I have to vote for the lesser of two evils doesn't mean the acceptable standard for fulfilling the role is "at least he isn't Hillary or a liberal".Comment

There you have it. Trump's behavior and rhetoric, his hypocrisy and dishonesty, and ongoing insensitivity to matters of race, sexism, etc., is a daily gift to those trying to undermine him. What would otherwise be obvious to most people about the corruption of our government, especially the groundwork laid by the Obama administration, is getting lost because he is so freakin' divisive. That is why his questionable behavior, attacks on everyone, his inconsistent stances on so many fronts including foreign affairs are so disastrous. All that rhetoric, the childish behavior, stupid comments, the insensitivity he shows on so many social issues, etc., is a gift to the liberal media to fuel the anti-Trump hysteria and fears they peddle. It helps justify even to a lot of independents and some moderate Republicans that the Russia investigation and undue scrutiny of all his actions are warranted. In the absence of his daily attacks by the left media and the defense of those by the right media, it is almost impossible to expose the corruption of our government and the weaponization of the various government agencies. There are a host more and instead of recognizing the danger of all of these to our politics and government, regardless the party in charge, he is giving them fuel to justify what is happening. Even I wonder about his various positions and comments on Russia and why he is so reluctant to criticize them/Putin when he has no problem bashing other potential enemies as well as allies.
Before you suggest that Dems would have ignored anyway, look at how easily many of us on the right have been programmed to think Trump is actually a conservative much less a champion of conservative Christian values. He is closer to being a moderate Democrat than he is a conservative, yet there are people lamenting throughout these posts how he has exposed fake conservatives, blaming RINO's, etc. He's just playing to those who worship him the most.Comment

The only things in this world to keep me from voting Trump again is my death and Trump himself. So far he hasn't even come close to doing anything that would in any way change my mind. They may impeach him but that don't mean he's guilty of anything other than being a target for the liberal's hate as it stands right now. I pray the he will last at least until he gets done picking judges and especially another SCOTUS. So far he has been hitting homers in that field.Comment
