That process is more important than any one person.
Due process is required to be a timely event. The fact that the judiciary takes years and years for immigration cases is in fact a violation. A violation caused by a violations from the executive branch.

Biden NEVER enforced immigration law and Congress is required to remove him for that. So much for the process. No judge forced Biden to enforce the law. Didn’t they do the opposite? The MSM applauded him for violating his oath.

Also, DACA was created by executive order because Congress does not do their jobs. Courts will not “allow” it to end via executive order. (Judges are creating “law”). Congress has not intervened with legislation (now for over a decade). Trump did try to end DACA with his EO authority, but courts are involving themselves in EOs. Talk about having no standing!

I guess 15 years is still not enough time to get a green card?

The courts have been and were deporting people during the Biden administration despite the fact that the Biden administration made it more difficult to do so. The prolonged timeframe for processing the cases is not by choice nor by design. Maybe you're recommending we increase the # of immigration judges 10 fold so that we can eliminate the backlog. Great, let your elected officials know. If you don't like the process and don't want to work to change it, start floating around the idea of a king.

They do so at the discretion of the person in charge, in this cass, the president.

It’s like Harris County when Kim Oggb said she doesn’t care about enforcing misdemeanor amounts of marijuana.

The law didn’t change but she says that would divert it around a criminal case and let them go to classes or whatever she ended up doing.

When Bush was the president I had the cell phone numbers of a couple of ICE agents. When we would arrest and in some cases only detain an illegal alien, I would text an agent and see if they wanted a hold placed on the person say the county jail. It was usually cleared almost immediately.

Move forward to the Obama administration. One of my officers made an arrest for an assault. He contacted me and I said no problem, let me get with ICE.

Oops! Sorry tvc, not only can we not put detainers on misdemeanors, even assaults with injuries, we now have to call Washington DC for approval. The law didn’t change. It was still the agents’ job to attest and deport illegal aliens. What changed was the order from the top. Enforcing a law that has probably been in place for decades was no longer an option.

Sure, Trump didn’t enact a new law. Immigration is under the Administrative Branch but if they operated independently without input from the president, they could simply choose not to enforce the law just as Kim Ogg did in Harris County.

So in my opinion EOs should not be some 90 day exercise and later depend on Congress, especially when neither party has complete control.

That's just it. Our legislature should fix this as the laws should be followed regardless of who's in charge. That way we don't have to worry about a POTUS picking and choosing which laws to enforce.

Both of those groups do fly a flag… so there is that.

you are being manipulated into focusing on a few small groups. Every migrant group has an element of organized crime. Ever hear of the mafia? Irish mob? Russian Bratva? Yakuza? Triads? Did we consider these groups “foreign invaders”, no.

This is setting precedent for red flag laws, and grabbing guns without due process.
Ya know? Like yalls boy said he wants to do!!

How do you get 3 pages from this garbage. Of course we need judges, just maybe not ALL jesuits.
You guys are such easy targets for Hegelian dialectic. Santy clause ain't real fellas.
Don't be supporting watered down due process. Not now, and not ever.

Are we sure about that? We have federal laws against marijuana, and yet it’s not enforced in like 28 states that have legalized cannabis at the state level

Tell me what judge we're talking about and what he said exactly.
I was refering to all of these district judges putting the stop to just about ANYTHING that Trump does, with nationwide rulings.
Case in point was that moron judge Boasburg demanding Trump turn the aircraft around on its way to E.S. full of gangbangers. It is every day we hear of some judge somewhere trying to stop some executive action.
So; if judges are allowed to do this, what the he77 do we need a president for? We can just let the judiciary run the country.....right?? 🤬

So if one judge can demand Trump turn the plane around why can't another judge demand he not turn it around? LOL

that’s not exactly how that transpired. and that’s not really how an injunction works.

but hey just swallow the Newsmax headlines hook line and sinker

That's the democrats plan, hopefully string it out long enough to get democrat control then give them the vote and if they murder and rape in the mean time that's just a mere side affect of their plan to retain power forever, or till we collapse.

My statement clearly said, "From a sovereign nation" so...

And, I haven't been manipulated by anyone. Heck, this is the first time I've given this topic even a seconds thought.

I hope it puts people on notice that the US isn't plating around any more. If you don't want to get caught up in the whirlwind, then to better run for cover. If a person is to stupid to come in out of the rain, then don't cry when they get wet.

given the status of these groups in Afghanistan and Syria… they basically are sovereign nations.

You haven’t thought about this until now, when it is a headline, but you aren’t being manipulated in what to think. Ohhhkaaaay..

For better than half of this nations history, illegal immigrants have been afforded hearings prior to deportation as a basic right.

if these cases are so egregious, it should take about 45 mins to prove the gang affiliation. And again, it places these judges in the precarious position of being on record for Choosing to protect illegals over US citizens.

Maybe all this DOGE $ apparently saved should be poured into immigration court reform and expedited deportation.

So we're clear on this, are you claiming that illegal alien invaders should be given legal rights over the sovereign rights of the state?
