I truly can not believe. I mean I can but it is hard to believe with all the steps you have to do to get SS and what a pain in the butt they can be that we have 18+Million people that are over 100 years old that are still getting SS. I just have to laugh at the one person that is 360-369 years old. Social Security did not start until 90 years ago. How in the hell did our country get this bad. I know how but really. Not one person in a position of control ever had the internal fortitude to stand up and do something. It makes me sick. And knowing about it and putting and end to it are two different matters.

I’m paused on this issue, I don’t think enough detail has been published yet. This maybe a situation where those people exist on paper but other controls have excluded them from receiving benefits. That’s like $400B/year which is absurd and seems almost unbelievable that there was that much waste, it’s like nearly 30% of the entire SS recipients.

oh totally is. and like all pyramid schemes they come crashing down at some point. Is this the end. Or is it just the development of the next one. Time will tell but some time some one has got to stop this stuff.

people talk about the value of money. For those that do not have any vs those that have a lot. SS helps my mom. My parents did not plan. They did not save. My mom lives with me and that is the only way she could live is what little pension money my dad had and SS. And those are not enough for her to live anywhere but with me. It is a please and honor for me to take care of her. But come on man. This crap has to end sometime.

I agree that SS is a Ponzi scheme, but it’s what we have. I could probably live without it, but the government took it from me without my permission and they owe me, so I’m gonna get all of it back that I can. I think with four years to go, Trump is gonna make a pretty good dent in a bunch of this waste, pizz off lots of people on the way, and get lots of free bad press. It’s up to those of us who want an honest, transparent government as to what happens after that, and it runs downhill to your local politicians.

Not sure if it's true but read that there are more SS recipients than U.S. citizens, of course that's on the internet so who knows but like others nothing with our government ineptitude would surprise me.

Wait until you see the numbers of people on disability and all the welfare programs. Maybe 5-10% "need" be be on any of those programs.

But the programs make/get more money the more people they put on them so they sign up everyone.

I’m really wanting to see the disability audit, I’m sure it will be a *******. I’ve always believed that if only people who truly needed government assistance got it, there would be plenty to assist them.

I'm doin pretty good on SS & Pension and have hardly touched my 401K. But, house is paid for, just the 2 of us and we don't spend extravagantly. But I've put about 50 yrs. into SS also, at a pretty good rate. Problem is, I'll probably never get it all back!

Bingo! It’s not even alleged by DOGE that these corpses are receiving payments. Low information people will allow their minds to fill in the blanks to reach a conclusion they’re inclined towards rather than doing their own independent research.
