Not really, but feel bad for the guy. Apparently was legally carrying and the officer disarmed him to write him a ticket. While she pulled it from his pants she hit the trigger and shot him in the leg.

I’m more and more convinced that most cops know just enough about guns to be dangerous. My brother in law who is a cop shot himself in the leg trying to holster his concealed carry gun on a Sunday morning before church, and he still swears he didn’t pull the trigger. I’ve told him multiple times that the gun didn’t go off with the trigger being pulled, and it didn’t pull itself.🤣

Why in the hell disarm him? Compliant....3 officers on scene......how about just have him keep hands on wheel and write his ticket. They took a controlled situation and turned it into an uncontrolled situation with lots of variables. If this is their policy it needs to be reviewed

Exactly David, some people should not be in LE, I went to school with one that couldn’t spell “cat” and he became a police officer.
he gave the neighbor lady a ticket for going 31 in a 30 mph zone.
I graduated with him and I ask him, why did you do that, he said I don’t know, and I’m not sure how fast she was going?
he wasn’t even a DEI hire, just an idiot.

I am still in the category of why they felt the need to disarm him. He was clearly cooperative. Thats why I always cross my hands and put them at 10 and 2
for both our safety. I have been told before do go for yours and I won't go for mine when pulled over. Maybe its different here because most people are armed in their vehicle.
