Let's hope someone in Congress has the balls to roll this back.
    This is false.

    The Constitution doesn’t mention convictions.

Since they author wants to cite the Constitution, he needs to check out Articles III, Sec. 1 & Sec. 2.

Those section to say in Sec. 1 that the Supreme Court has the judicial power of the United States. It says in Sec. 2 that that power extends to “all cases arising under the constitution”.

The Supreme Court has ruled and that meme is false.

I never doubted he’d get it done.
Correct except it is all federal criminal laws.

it has no bearing on state law or lawsuits

Time to right the ship starting today.
SCOTUS has already ruled on it.

The president can pardon anyone for any federal crime before it is investigated, during an investigation or indictment or after conviction.

The president according to SCOTUS cannot pardon for future crimes.

Certainly SCOTUS can take a case and overturn their own decision however, this is a separation of powers issue under the Constitution and will likely not be overturned.

Don’t worry, the Biden’s will commit some crime after Joe is out. They can’t help it.
            Probably tax evasion.

It's bs...do we get a list of the crimes they got away with?? Seems to me there should at least be a charge / investigation / indictment in process for a pardon to be considered. This is a horrible precedent & sets the stage for future dirty dealing. Horrible rotten people.

You can hear them scheming already.

This^^^they can't be pardoned for an act not yet committed but for ones there hasn't been legal action on yet.
That being said, we all know it takes time to gather enough evidence for charges and pardoning someone prior to legal proceedings being brought against them (for past actions) is as bad as pardoning them for "future offenses". It's a gross misappropriation of power and entitlement...plain and simple.

                    on edit a thought.

does anyone think Joe and Jill so scorned that they issued these pardons to prevent pleading the 5th under oath?

they may be so hacked on being booted outta the presidential race that they burned’em?
I thought you HAD NO 5TH AMENDMENT PROTECTION if you had been pardoned? You can't be charged for a crime if you have been pardoned so how do they refuse a Subpoena???

While it’s infuriating it also gives those pardoned the option to either accept and therefore admit guilt of crimes, namely treason, or they decline and have to face the music.

Second, I think this is also another way the biden’s are burning it all down as they were thrown to the wolves by the swamp. The swamp now has to try and defend this ridiculousness.

Make no mistake, Biden was not the decision maker here on these actions.

It’s like MASH where Radar used to come in and have Colonel Blake sign a stack of papers and Blake had no idea what he just signed.

A person can possibly be held in contempt and held i jail until the investigation is over.

I don’t think there is a criminal penalty for refusing.

Wasn’t Susan McDougal held in jail for refusing to testify against Bill Clinton?
