The power of pardon conferred by the Constitution upon the President is unlimited except in cases of impeachment. It extends to every offense known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment.

I never doubted he’d get it done.

This was my question; whether the President has the constitutional authority to pardon someone before they’re convicted, and you have answered it. Thanks.

Just becouse they have been pardoned doesnt mean you cant still investigate right? If so, does it mean that they would not have to testify if called in?

                      Serious thought.
I think we can all agree politics only goes one way (gets worse). So what in the world will we be in awe at by the end of the next Dem Presidency?

Trump has a mind boggling amount of work to try and right this ship.

He didn’t pardon himself. I hope Jim Jordon and company go after Biden himself. Now that they have been pardoned, those people are obligated to “tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth”. Get Hunter and Biden’s brother on the stand against Joe and let them commit perjury!!!!!

This, in combination with the example provided by the Nixon pardon by Ford to set precedence.
