    I'd have still been there fightin' it! I'll have to pay closer attention next time I'm in FW.

      Yessir..great idea as long as you don't have to worry about freezing temps. Noticed em many moons ago when we took the kids to San Diego....and 10-4 I'm with you on the plug wrench.

          Joke was many years ago the hydrant company messed up and FW got them at a huge discount and since different then anywhere else from then on paid double for the backwards plugs with square stem.......there's an arrow on the top of plugs for direction and till the day I left I had to look at it....spent 10 years prior with ones that opened like everyone elses.....Salt Lake City......caps and stems all square so anybody with a crescent wrench can open them and actually in hydrant bag there are some big wrenches with a longer pipe welded to them for leverage just not as easy as the shop made square ones that didn't slip off and some so hard to open takes 2 FF one on each side or even a bigger breaker pipe to put over handle......
