If Trump gets elected how awesome will this be? Can Musk do what he wants? If he was able to do it how much would spending drop? My guess is 70-80% while still getting the same stuff done.

Heck no. If you knew Elon a little you wouldn't say that.
I've never seen him say he will do something and not get it done.

And I'd take pretty much anyone except another politician. You want another McCain or Romney put in charge of wasteful spending?

When the Republican dominated House and Senate sent Trump a spending bill that was higher than the previous one from the democrats, he didn't even bat an eye. I don't see Donald Trump making any serious efforts to reduce spending. I hope I'm wrong but I just have a hard time imagining it.

When Elon has a testimony (that takes a few years and he may very well develop that in the coming few) for being squared away and conservative, I will trust him. The good thing is, he is not running for office and does not need my vote. I do not dislike him or his talking points...I just do not trust his application...yet.

On trump spending...lol. I trust Trump to balance the budget and/or leverage debt in a way that benefits our economy versus destroying it.

Gotta love your country. I can’t teach you to love your country more than an immigrant that is the richest man in the world and flips his views when convenient for him based upon what he’s trying to accomplish.
