*****; are you suggesting that we might have to cut welfare for illegals? what; no more free fones? no more free housin'.... maybe start looking to see what the CITIZENS might need.....
How about OUR HOMELESS VETS and those that really need some kind of care...(mental/physical). I think that when we get our problems fixed here; then we can start thinking how to fix other peoples problems.

would’t mind seeing Cruz in a Trump cabinet position or on SCOTUS, but not if he’s replaced by a D
He's a senator, one of 100 so there's not a lot he can personally accomplish particularly when they are in the minority.

He was a big part of getting Trump's judicial nominees through and they will be shaping US law for decades to come, that's pretty important.

It looks like he may have a rare opportunity of being a fairly senior senator with republicans holding the house, senate and WH starting next year and he'll be in a great position to help then put the country on the right track.

He's done a good job for us and he'll keep getting my vote.

Allwrong will lose. Straight tickets will knock him out.

It will be closer than I'm comfortable with but I'm confident Cruz will pull it off.

Allread is one of the most skilled and gifted liars I've ever seen and in his commercials he's done a great job of pretending to be a very reasonable middle of the road guy.

Loo at his voting record however and you'll see who he really is.

I agree with this logic. Also, Trump is projected to win TX by a few points. Not as wide a margin as we would prefer, but compared to swing States, it won't be super close. If Allred pulls off the upset, that would indicate that some people that voted for Trump didn't vote straight ticket and either -
              - Voted for Allred
              - Voted for 3rd Party Senate Candidate
              - Or didn't vote for Senate at all

Given how poloarizing this election has been and how much of a stand out candidate Trump has been, I find it hard to believe that just about anyone voting for Trump would also Vote for a Dem for a Senate seat. I guess stranger things have happened.

I think “straight ticket “ voting is a thing of the past, unless y’all mean just individually choosing all Republicans. I do think Cruz wins.

Yeah there's a sign where I voted yesterday stating it was abolished by law in 2020.

Random thoughts about that, there were 17 judges of various sorts on the ballot yesterday, 14 democrats running unopposed, 2 that had a rep/dem on the option, and one rep running unopposed. So my ballot was full of "no selection" on those lol.

You are correct. You're still free of course to vote a str party ticket but you have to go along and actually check the boxes now.

That's the only way we can do it here.

In my opinion, the Dems are overplaying their hand with the continuous Allred ads. People know who has allowed the border crisis and it ain't Ted Cruz.
