Not sarcastic by any means and there’s probably no way we can keep everyone out.
I’m just looking at how the current administration and their guidelines are performing, which is obviously horrible.
Seriously, what do we do other than shutting it down as best we can. There really is no right or wrong answer other than doing exactly that but what has been being done over the past 3+ years is obviously not the solution.
Come back to this page and it devolved exactly as every thread in PACE does. People, who, if they were sitting around a fire together, would agree on 95% of things (In this case, what should happen to these thugs), are instead arguing about something trivial (Is it wrong to sneak out of a house). Conservatives trying to out conservative one another. This group is so good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Some things never change in PACE...
What are you talking about? You did the exact same thing in post #16 that you are whining and snot-drooling about in this last one. You must be a democrat.

Ahh, you got me. Nice work. The republicans have your medal at headquarters.
I am disgusted by the argument that has been created in this thread by those of you who accuse others of “victim blaming” when they commented that the young victim made a bad (fatal) decision when she chose to go (sneak) out that night. NOBODY is suggesting that she caused the violence perpetrated against her; simply that she made a big mistake putting herself in that situation. Nobody is suggesting she “deserved” what she got. Nobody is saying this is anything less than tragic. Nobody is saying that the perpetrator is any less guilty.
To sling the accusation of “victim blaming” out there when it has no place in an argument does only two things:
It diminishes the tenet of “personal responsibility” that we should all be teaching our children, and;
It only serves to (understandably) incite defensiveness of those whom you accuse and, all of a sudden, the focus is—ironically—on the victim and not on the evil perpetrated by the offender.
Grow up, stop whining, and be an adult by not being afraid of assigning the appropriate amount of blame where it rightly belongs. It’s call “personal responsibility” and it’s empowering!

The problem will never go away. The Federal government will not relinquish control over the Southern border to the individual states, and they will never address the situation. Every administration in the history of our nation has failed to secure the border. Illegals have raped and murdered innocent Americans since we've been a nation, and our leaders don't care. Not even Trump could stop it. Without committing murder at the border there's no stopping it. Our leaders care more about protecting foreign borders than our own. We need to invade Mexico and take control of both side of the border. We need to declare war on Mexico and let our military wipe out the Cartel once and for all. Problem is our politicians are getting huge handouts from the cartel to look the other way. So, a few in house assassinations and a firestorm brought down on Mexico will be a good start.
