The G2's were 12.5". It was late when we finished taking pics and cleaning it and before we could score it the next morning before me and my son got up my dad "surprised" us and already had it gone to the taxidermist so we don't have an official score.

Wow. Your 9 yr old is pulling 40 lbs? My 10 yr old barely pulls 15. I really need to work on strength with my oldest boy to get him up to a killing weight. Congrats to that boy for a great buck.
