Leon county rut activity???

In bexar country theyre starting to show signs of rut but the doe aren't quite ready for it yet

They are starting to show signs in Grimes County as well. I have video of some sparing plus the buck groups have split up. Also, their activity on my camera was like clock work. They are changing their habits. Either the acorns are keeping them hidden, the hogs have scared them off or the rut is getting close.

Had a couple little bucks chasing does yesterday evening in Leon County. Had another one going around grunting. It's about to get going good.

Yup...tried my antlers and doe grunt...didn't bring jack in. Last year during rifle season I could bring them in

In my opinion they are about to be running wide open by the weekend if they aren't already.

I've been seeing the big boys moving since last Thursday. Last night about dark I saw some really impressive deer moving. I have a feeling this weekend the kiddos are going to knock down some impressive deer.
