Nice shootin with the bow and camera !

Alot of folks are shocked when you tell them, or in your case, show them, that you take deer this close to DFW ! There are some nice animals in Denton and Cook County. Turkey and Hogs included !!

Most of my bow kills have occurred less than 10 miles of my home, and I live in Krum.

I have not hunted the north end of Ray Roberts, but I understand the public area there is loaded as well. Bow only, I believe.

There is no deer hunting on any of Ray Roberts. There is an archery hog season after the first of the year though.

Cool. You're just across the road from me then. Along Spring Creek I guess. Between my uncle's place and ours, I hunt everything along the creek north of 922 for a couple of miles.

We got slammed by the drought this year didn't we? Three of our five tanks went dry (we had them cleaned out though), and the other two are on their last legs. I'm hoping they all caught some water from the rain this last week.
