Congrats on a great deer! They're not saying y'all would have ripped out the tag to begin with.. Tagged deer lose their tags when roaming the ranch, due to fighting, rubbing off their velvet, etc... I'm not taking anything away from your great deer, but that's what it looks like! I see them do it all the time.
