Sour Corn

How do you sour your corn,,,,,i tried earlier in the summer in a 5 gallon bucket and forgot it was there,next to my house in the back yard,,dam thing exploded cause i put the lid back on too tight! and of course my dumb *** red healer eat about a pound of it and i think we all know how that ended

Ive been using hog wild,,,works great but looking for a different idear
