    Ladder Stands

I don't see many people post pictures of them or mention hunting out of them. I picked up two 15 ft ladder stands at ****'s Sporting goods for 49 bucks each so I figured what the heck. Any opinions on them? Anyone else hunt out of ladder stands?

Part of the problem with ladder stands in Texas is we don't have big enough trees in parts of Texas to put 15' ladder stands in!!!

I have probably 25 ladder stands on our farm up here in Virginia and when concealed right they can be awesome!

what stand did you get? That is a great price. If you have trees, ladder stands are great.

I think they are great! But I don't like setting in a hot box or tent, sweat too much, so they work good for me. Now you can get a umbrella that attatches to the tree and even set in the rain, as long as it's not blowing in sideways.

I put a 15 footer up not long ago but have yet to hunt out of it but I think I'm gonna like more than my climber.

I like the loggy bayou brush ladder cause I can hide it real easy.

You got a heck of a deal. I buy the double seaters when they go on sale at Sportsmanguide, for around $100. I missed the last sale. Waited to long. They were already sold out when I went to order. My brother will wait till Wal Mart has their clearance sale and gets them around $60. We have 4 up at our lease. I use mine mainly when I take my son. I'm more a lock-on or climber man myself.

I have 4 ladder stands and I love them. Easy to move with one person and easy to set up.

We have 4 or 5 up at our lease. If you got enough cover around them they're hard to beat.

I hunted out of a couple of ladder stands in Kansas last year, I felt safe getting in and out of them, the only problem I had at all was sometimes the deer would travel behind me making it hard to get a shot. I am thinking of getting one of the Game Tamer ladders if they ever get it back together, you can shoot near 360 with one of them.
