right there on his rifle. loot for the screws in the handle and then look slight at the base and you can see it sitting on a picatinny rail. and his handguard/foreend is different too

good catch - I hadn't even noticed it was an M-4 carbine instead of an M-16
we had some M-16 carbines but they had a different forend

I served with two different soldiers that were tunnel rats in the Vietnam. Neither one made rank above E-5.

They both drank heavily, lived in the barracks and would snap in a minute. Kept getting busted back. Understandable. This was in '89 or '90.

I finished my commitment and got out. Think they eventually took forced retirement.
