Watched an eight chase and attempt to mount a doe this morning west of Fredericksburg, also watched another young buck make a scrape about 30 yards from my popup.

In between Cherokee and Pontotoc, the bucks are running the does crazy.
I could barely get a shot at a doe this weekend, because the bucks were running them away every time they came in.
Finally had enough and took a nice, clean head shot on a 4.5 yo doe.

Hey Rod, where is ya'lls place? We're just East of Pontotoc off of 71. Sure did hate to hear they are running does down the road at your place. Since we can't hunt all week... We ought to be there now!Comment

Not as much as it bothers Scott Thrash, but it does bug me.
