Dont feel bad brother, they put me on one last week also at the old age of 32. My preasure has been constantly 135 / 110. the bottom number is what was scaring them. They apparently loke it closer to 75.

Yeah I know what you mean. Got mine about 3 months ago.

It's better than stroking out so I just mumble under my breath and take it.

That's what you get for going to a doctor. Guess they made another payment on the new boat. Live hard, live right.

People use to die from old age. When's the last time you read an obituary that said that?

Just take life as it comes and you will be amazed at what the body can tolerate. That is all we can ask. Do you best and the rest is by the Almighty's will. Besides worrying about it will raise your blood pressure.

I started taking them in the AM. I was worried about any weird effects so I didnt want to take them before I went to bed.

I watched my mother's dad lay in a bed for 11 years, paralized, before he had his second and final one. He was bedriden. My grandmother used to ride the bus to go visit him twice a day to visit and get his dirty clothes to wash. She had no car or license. For your family's sake, take your meds fellers. Thanks.

Better to be on a pill than a stretcher rushing into an ER

I take mine before I go to bed.

It would be my luck that I wouldn't die from the stroke I'd just be really messed up for another 20 years. I choose to take the pill.

yep... I'm 35 and have been on them for a few months now... mine would get up to 140/90... sometimes higher.

I checked it one time and it was 190/101... I decided it was time to get on it.
