"To many" and "Guns" should never be in the same sentence. Don't ever get rid of anything that you dearly love. Just save up and get the other one. I have never gotten rid of a gun, that I have not regretted later.

Thou shall only buy guns, and never sell them. Isn't that a man law?

I couldn't imagine parting with my Grand Raptor. Also eagerly awaiting the arrival of my newest aquisition, the Ultra Covert II, which may end up being my primary CCW.

I have had regret every time that I sold a gun, never regretted buying a new one.

I am buying the Kimber TLE/RLII in stainless finish from the gun shop in Clute TX and am getting it for less than a $1000 new. So I would say you could expect to get close to that for a used one with upgraded trigger. Maybe $875-$900.

Thanks for all the imput guys! I slept on it and I think I am going to hang on to it and just save for my varmit rifle. I have done well over the years with delayed gratification. It may take me a while to complete the "perfect rig" but how sweet it will be when it's done.

I am sure I will be posting on here again when it gets closer to time to see what everyones opinion on the perfect varmit rifle.

            Thanks again!

I've sold and traded guns to finance other guns, and have some serious regrets from doing so. Some that got away:

Remington 700 Mountain Rifle .270 - bought new, sold it to get a Marlin 45-70
Colt Blue Label (AR15) Sporter Match Target - quit shooting service rifle
Springfield Armory M1A loaded stainless - quit shooting service rifle again
Para Ordnance P13-45 - part trade for the M1A
Glock G17 - wanted single stack 1911 that fit my small hands.
Colt series 80 enhanced stainless Commander - traded for a Browning Hi Power 9mm (wanted hi-cap pistol that fit my small hands)
Browning Hi Power 9mm - sold to finance my current Kimber Tactical Pro II
Browning BL22 - Scotty talked me out of it for his son (lucky kid!)

Man, that's the first time I listed 'em that way. I'd have a heck of a collection if I only followed that sage bit of advice - NEVER SELL GUNS.
