We did one of these in January & stayed at the Mokara with a river walk balcony view. Did the pearl district & farmers market, piano bar at Howl at the Moon was fun, ate great lunch & dinner on the River, did the Alamo, Buckhorn, Ridley’s, etc. Last day did a spa day at Mokara with full body CBD massage + facial & pedicure. It was a nice getaway with about a $5500 price tag.

        Food along the river

        Acenar
        Ocho
        Iron Cactus
        Little Rhein Prost Haus
        Domingo Restaurante
Mi Terra - Cafe Y Panaderia

Tour the old Spanish Missions as well as The Alamo. Mission Espada is the coolest IMO. All of them are different, and each, is ancient with rich history.

And to mix things up, roll up I-10 to Boerne, hit the Main Street scene, then roll to Comfort, another Main Street scene and on to Fredericksburg. Rolling back to San Antonio, take the road to Luckenbach on the way back to San Antonio. The road from Luckenbach to Boerne will take you by the Old Tunnel State Park - an old Railroad tunnel cut through the hill from SA to Kerrville during the 1800s. Bats will fly out at sundown by the thousands. It's pretty darn cool to see.
