            Port Aransas magic lure

Some Walmarts and HEB carry Down South lures.

Every tackle shop on the coast has them.

If you find some type of “magic bait” I’ll take a dozen. It impossible without knowing the conditions and what baitfish are getting consumed. Most fish I’m catching right now are eating those small shad

When I was fishing the coast in my first life, it was spoons and shrimp tails. Rockport and corpus area.

I expect they will still work!

1/8oz jig head and a bone diamond 4" shad assassin. Mimics a piggy perch or a croaker. Everyday food for any Trout, Reds or Flounder.

I 1/2oz gold spoon is also a plus to have with you.
