I have had covid twice now, the first time, it was the strangest crap I have ever experienced in my life, just lingered for weeks. For the first three days, I would feel like crap some time late afternoon, till to late at night. But then wake up the next morning feeling fine. Then feel like crap again that afternoon. My taste and smell was off, I did not loose either. For two weeks, maybe three, I could not walk in any place that cooked beef, it would smell like rotten meat, about make me puke. I am pretty sure, some of my taste and smell sensors were dulled and some were overly sensitive. I could only eat chicken for fish for a few weeks. Out of my wife and I, I was the only that experienced any problems with taste or smell.

At the same time I had covid the first time, my wife also got covid. She had pains in her head, she could not describe, just kept saying her brain hurt extremely bad. She said it was noting like a headache. She would be screaming, and crying for hours at times. After seeing what she went through for a week, I don't want any part of the symptoms she had. She caught it from me, so it was the same variation of the virus, very different symptoms.

Weak, low energy, run out of breath are some of the symptoms I have had, on both times I have gotten it. The last time I got it, I had snot pouring out of my nose at one time, I think I only had that one day, the day I was on my nilgai hunt. I had very little energy, could not sleep, just had a general ache, something was not right. I was uncomfortable but not anything that would stop me from doing work I needed to get done, or stop me from hunting. Now the first three afternoons, the first time I got it, I was not doing anything, I felt horrible.

This second time, I could not sleep well at all, did not feel all that bad, could not pinpoint what was wrong, just did not feel 100% well.

That stuff is flat weird, strange, odd, different, annoying, irritating. The symptoms the first time were kind of like a flu at times, but not really. At other times I just did not feel normal, but could not tell you what was wrong, just felt very strange, I also felt like that the second time. I could not even describe the problem to a doctor if I had to, other than to say I don't feel normal, something is wrong, just irritating.

Getting tested for covid would not be a bad idea, then you would know, or get checked out by a doctor.

That covid crap, has got to be some synthetic virus that the Chinese spent a lot of time cooking up. The symptoms are commonly not like anything that person has previously experienced and the symptoms vary greatly.

Good luck with whatever you have going on.

Stay away from anything with acid. Spaghetti with tomato sauce is not good on the gut. Soup or broth with rice or noodles plain. Drink hot and cold tea, sprite or 7up. Stay away from coke or Carmel colored drinks.Good old fashioned hot bath. Be sure get a little exercise outside.

That’s what my family thinks it could be. Don’t even remember when the last time I dropped a mud shark. I also remember when I was at work on nights last week, I didn’t eat very much at lunch. Just a few bites and I felt full.
Going to call my doctor in the morning and see if he can work me.
I’m tired of feeling like crap!!!

OP, you have what we in the Mommy Medical Community call "a little bug." Generally speaking, this means you have some sort of garden-variety virus your body is fighting.

What you need now is plenty of rest and to drink lots of fluids...any kind of fluids, it does NOT have to be "smart" water...or Pedialyte...or Gatorade to have efficacy. Personally, I think an ice cold Dr Pepper (or Coke, depending on what part of the country you're from) is the best cure for a fever and upset stomach there ever was.

If you're hungry, eat something. If you're not hungry, don't. If eating something upsets your stomach, stop eating it. It's really that simple.
