Yes let's hope so. We are running 12 feeders as a group so it's always something.

      1. Test out battery and make sure the timer shows 12V on the screen and shows that your battery is full. You can also use a voltmeter.
      2. If the battery is good, Unplug the timer and jump the motor straight to the battery. If the spinner plate spins, then you know the motor is good. If it doesn’t, your problem is the motor or a clogged spinner plate.
      3. If the spinner plate spins on step 2, I would then look at the timer. Remove the fuse, check and make sure it’s not blown and clean the fuse contacts to ensure there is no corrosion.

Please shoot me a text at 817-437-1373 and I’d be happy to help troubleshoot the problem. I know they aren’t our feeders but I’m certain I can help you get your issue fixed. Have a great day!
Thanks for the offer but we got them both working
. A bad battery on one and loose connection on the other.

Just because the battery shows 12v that absolutely doesn't mean it's a good battery. Connect motor directly up to battery. If it spins hard the battery and motor are good..... only one thing left after that brother.

The original feeders had a flaw in that the wires from the timer/battery to the motor were bare where they passed through the hole in the plate. The sharp edge would cut the wire. Two out of my three feeders had this happen. I rewired and ran the wires through a rubber hose.

The newer feeders have had this problem corrected
