There is already a limit on shrimp boats in the gulf. Lower oil back down to 20 dollars a barrel so overhead is less. price will go down. Price to shrimp boats for their product is lowest its been in 30 years because of imported farm raised shrimp.

When I was poor kid growing up fishing Galveston and Texas City, we had to make a decision whether to fish more or fish less and have money for bait.

We decided to stop throwing bait and moved strictly to artificial, it was a short learning curve but we got the hang of it. I haven't thrown bait with the exception of a few guided trips with family in 20+ years.
