    Blackstone griddle

My wife won a full sized black stone griddle.I know everybody loves them, but what do I cook on it? I have never had one and never seen anyone use one.

Better question would be, what can’t you cook on it.
I will be making Philly cheesesteaks tonight.

I get a lot of the stuff being cooked on it especially breakfast items but are steaks and burgers cooked on the flat top better than flame grilled or over coals? Those items have me perplexed and would seem like burgers n steaks would be so much tastier cooked over coals or flames.

Absolutely not! You can’t reproduce the taste of wood on a good piece of meat with a “griddle”! That said….I own one. Lots of good cooking you can do on one. They have their place in the food chain…lol
I own nice pellet grills too. Ease of use is off the chain…..but you’ll never really reproduce the taste of a Good wood 🔥

One of my favorites is fried cabbage with onions, bacon n sausage. Hard to cook that on the stove unless you have a giant skillet.
For breakfast, you can do eggs, bacon, pancakes and hash browns at the same time‼️

And for eggs, if some want fried, some wand scrambled and some want inlets, no problem doing them all at the same time.

Thanks for the clarification. So it's the convenience factor for steaks n burgers. For everything else it seems hard to beat the griddle. The breakfasts it can crank out must be fantastic. Pretty crazy you can even cook cinnamon rolls and biscuits from a can on it

I bet we use ours 4 nights a week to cook on, honestly use it way more than i ever thought.
We liked it so much we bought one for the deer lease as well so we never have to mess with dishes. We cook every meal on it throughout deer season.
