For breakfast, you can do eggs, bacon, pancakes and hash browns at the same time‼️
      That cabbage sounds awesome Charlie

Steaks are badarse on it. The flavors from the blackening and carmelization are incredible. Come getcha some

Yup…..easy button…just like pellet smokers. Convenience has its advantages…..but it never truly replaces the flavor.

Depends on the style of burger. IMO charcoal is better for a nice thick medium rare burger but “smash burgers” with grilled onions on the cast iron are awesome too!

I haven't made a steak on mine yet, but smash burgers on the griddle are way better than a burger off of a grill.

Season, season, season. That is the key and there are a ton of YouTube videos in it. Can cook anything on them.

Better question is what can’t you cook.

The thread in post 16 is full of ideas.

After I got my methodology down for cooking on my griddle, we never used our big ol' grill... after about a year of it constantly being moved around because it was getting in the way, I loaded the sucker up and hauled it to the office... figger'd someone would want it... nope, so in the dumpster it went! Once in a great while I will build a fire in the pit (either stick burner or fire pit with a grill) and do some steaks, but in reality, the griddle does the steaks better for us. It does a better job of getting the flavors from any seasonings into the meat instead of just burning them up on the surface of the steak. And I don't like to cover up the flavor of the seasonings and the meat with smoke. If I want to have that flavor, I'll smoke something like a brisket or tri-tip... A fine ribeye or fillet needs little as it's the flavor of the meat I'm after.

I just made patty melts on mine. I also make a lot of cheese steaks. I try to stay away from the breakfast things on mine just because i like my bacon and sausage cooked slower than the flat top will cook them.
