My place is in RS and I'm in that lowes a few times a week. They always have those. I stay with the timer though so I can keep individual parts on hand

I’m a “The Timer n The Remote” fan for sure. With that said I picked up “The Caddy” to try for my wife’s goat feeder. Thought this way she could stand way back and set it off without getting trampled. So it might be a good thing. Well it worked as said, long distance, longer than my old The Timer/Remote so I was happy with that. Still wasn’t going to change everything out or work with two similar systems. Then she wanted another in a different area. So I thought hers could be “the caddy” and I’ll keep my “The Timer/Remote “
Well the second “The caddy “ was not so successful. Messed with it and messed with it trying to figure out why it was not working on this feeder. After being super frustrated i decided to take the timer portion to the 1st feeder setup , plugged it in, and set it off. And bingo!!! The timer itself was not functioning. Dam it, all that wasted time and now I’ve got to figure out how to get it replaced-all the way back to Rock Springs Lowe’s, that’s costly… ☹️
I’ll let y’all know how MFG and Lowe’s go.

        tending the fire,
        Bob G.

I've had 2, The Timer(s), fail and dump #1000 of corn in the last 3 years. They are better than most options but have gone downhill some, imo.

Easier to program? I have zero issues programming The Timer—-just don’t ask me questions about my iPad or iPhone.b

I’m not sure it’s really easier. It looks exactly like The Timer. Most likely programs the same way.

Being that this thing is harder to find than a unicorn, I think I will just stick with The Timer and The Remote.

Not Exactly! There are 2 run time buttons 1 for up and the other for down - 1 less procedure

                  Splitting hairs I know lol.

I would agree that if you don’t have easy access to purchase any then I would stay with THE TIMER also

I was thinking about this! Could you please post up all of the timers that are Made Here? I would certainly be interested.
