Thanks fellas for the replies. Some funny stuff here.

Something I do like doing is buying and reselling. I made some decent side money looking on marketplace and other places for good deals on things I could buy and resell but seems like lately I haven't came across any good deals. I've also purchased items on clearance from some of the big box stores and resold with good results.

Use to know a guy who would buy those pallets of tool returns and other items that I would buy lots of things from him at a great price and resell. He moved and no longer can find those deals. I'm not interested in buying those pallets because I like to pick and choose the items I know I can sell quickly and not have to sit on the other items.

Laser engraving, and wood working, gets me some extra cash on the side. I also do a little electrical work on the side as well.

I don't do it, but have thought that repairing and/or installing garage doors could be a profitable sideline. The local companies are usually booked a couple of weeks out. When an opener breaks, people want it fixed now.

We are waiting to get ours fixed now. If it doesn't happen before the weekend, I might do it myself. It can be an emergency when someone can't get their car out of the garage.

We have a good guy around here, installs and repairs. It is a full time company now with several employees that way they can get you up and going fast.

A whole lot of money gets made on simple spring, cable, and opener repairs. Not a bad gig at all.

For sure. I did this for a couple years before I went BBQ. Amazing what people will just give you.

Whatever you decide to do, I recommend you avoid things with high overhead, high storage costs. That's what I went with coaching - no over head, no storage, all relies upon what is in my head and how I can encourage and build others.

We work part time for a rancher up here. Irrigation, taking care of the property, controlling access, etc. Everything but cattle right now.

Gets us some cash but more importantly hunting access. We have a great place to go get away too with the ranch.

Used to roof part time. The money and lifestyle got so good I had to do it full time.

                          Im hiring too
