Darrel's surf and turf poboy is one of the best poboys anywhere. Macfarlanes is a pretty good irish pub with good beer selection and pretty good food menu.

Not a whole lot to do in LC from a tourist perspective. Gambling is the #1 attraction, then food. Just gotta be in town when something is happening. If your meals are comped, then you may decide to save the $150 for a meal downtown and eat at the casino hotel. If venturing out for groceries, Luna and Mazen have incredible food. Seafood Bills obvious choice for seafood.

click on this link which will show you the festivals and TTD during your stay.

KD's diner is a hole in the wall spot with a pretty good breakfast.

Am I the only one that thinks Steamboat Bill’s is overrated?

Slide down to Hackberry, get a guide and go fishing. Lots of good spots in sight of the casinos, all the way down to Big Lake

Check out Cotten's Downtown. Wife and I enjoy this small place for breakfast.

If you have a chance also stop at Don's specialty meats and pick up some boudain and cracklins for the house!

Famous Foods Soft and Spicy Cracklings are good.
As far as things to do I don't know we are usually there for the casino and we only venture out to eat lol

Darrels for a good poboy. If you want to take her to a nicer restaurant, Mazens.

You are not the only one. Crawfish are okay but the gumbo might as well have been water based soup.
