I will suggest this - if you want to eat at any of these restaurants in Georgetown for dinner make a reservation - they get booked up quickly

Lots of places on the square. If you have a sweet tooth baked bear ice cream, galaxy bakery cup cakes and chocolate place on the corner I can recall the name has all kinds of stuff.

Little Red Wagon shut down a few years back. When I first saw this thread LRW came into my head and I felt sad

OP - If you by chance play poker swing by The Lodge off I-35 They have 50 full tables of every type of poker going you can imagine. It's crazy.

around 4-6 weeks ago - building is for lease - I never heard what the reason was - sure wasn't from lack of traffic on the square - most restaurants down there are full every night

Maaaaan, that’s a bummer about LRW. That same guy owned Tio Dan’s in RR. It closed 4-5 years ago. If you wanted to have a heart attack with your dinner Tio Dan’s puffy tacos were the way to go, but they were soooooo good

Deckhands in RR is good. If you don't want to drive all the way to Taylor for bbq, Liberty BBQ in RR is pretty good as well. Finley's in RR has pretty good burgers and beer.
