Icon or Carli for 2022 F-250

I was holding out to see if I wanted a 2023 but I just don’t feel like waiting and ordering one so I’m going to put a little lift on my truck instead.

I’m between the Icon stage 2 and Carli Backcountry but not sure which one to go with.












I’m doing these wheels with a 37x12.50. Not wanting the real wide tires sticking out reel far so I’m thinking this will look kinda like the black tremor wheels.

Had both in past. I lean to Carli more. Icon is right there too.

I currently have Icon but have used Carli in the past. Both are great and I would do either one of them again.

How did y’all feel the ride was vs stock?

I’ve had several lifted trucks in the past highest being 8 inch and lowest being 3 inch leveling kit.

Never an Icon or Carli.

Go with the Carli man. Notice how many more pieces there are in the Icon kit. Carli and Thuren would be the choices I looked at. I’ve not run an Icon system though.

I went Carli on my Cummins and anyone who rides in the truck compliments the ride quality.

I hate icon and passionately bash them wherever possible. They are junk. They don’t stand behind their products. They are not who you want to do business with.

Ride was better than stock, but what I noticed was better control feeling in steering. If u go full replacement spring pack in rear it is better, but u lose some weight capacity. Bought a truck from a guy that had a complete Carli package. Definitely good riding and steering. Another thing Carli stresses is running right air pressure for weight of rig. Instead of x lbs he says weight of rig divided out by 4 and just fill tires to support that weight. Normally less air pressure per tire than recommended by factory. More flex in sidewall making for better ride.

I like where you’re going and good call on the 37s. I’d go Carli and keep an offset on your wheels around -20. I went -18, and feel like mine don’t stick out much at all.

I will second having the correct air pressure. It made a world of difference in my ride and overall handling. .

Call and speak to Cody at CJC Off-road. They are Carli specialists and that dude makes some great videos on YouTube for any setup on a 3/4 ton truck you can imagine. I’ve called to ask him questions and ordered my system from them.

I’m trying to go cheap[emoji23]. Buddy owns the shop and he’s giving me a trade on my wheels and tires. He’s only charging me $700 for those wheels.

This truck is only driven to go to South Texas to hunt. I have a daily car and my wife has an suv.
