I've had a Garmin Instinct since the first gen. I've also got a Samsung of some kind. But have the Garmin on all the time.

The fish are biting and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

In for the replies… I would like to have a watch with all the fitness tracking features & battery capacity of the Garmin watch but be able to pair with iPhone so as to be able to see and answer calls without being next to the phone.

I wade fish in my Apple Watch often. It gets wet and it works and I have no issue.

I guess I could swim in it, but don’t see the point.

I take it off to shower.

Garmin instinct solar is what I'm using. I bought a Samsung watch but broke it within the first week. I had it fixed and gave it to my wife.. The battery life on the garmin can't be beat. 22 days on a full charge.

Garmin Forerunner 735XT with no issues going on 4 years. Time for a new one as this one is a little scratched

I have the Samsung watch. Has held up and does what I need it to do. Battery lasts about 2 days.

Might have to look into the Garmin watches posted above.

Same. I got a Garmin Instinct Solar, and love it! It doesn't have all of the same features as the Apple watch. But I didn't need them. It does have some features that are better though. However it takes some time learning it. Not super user friendly. But battery lasts a LONG while.

Garmin Forerunner 55. Been with Garmin since the 305, then the 945 and now the 55. Great battery life, very good GPS connection, highly recommend.
