where to get Hi temp cheese.

I know I'm late making sausage, but need to get 5# or so of hi temp cheese for some summer sausage. Who do y'all recommend? Guessing it will stay good in my fridge a few days or so till I use it.

No different the regular cheese. Keep it sealed. You can order it from Allied Kenco in Houston. Just google up hi melt or Temp cheese.

I haven’t found a local place that has it. I’ve been ordering it. Yes it will stay good for awhile in fridge.

You can order it from butcher shops on line. I have ordered mine from Southern Indiana Butcher Supply for the last couple years. I am sure there are other places to get it, just found them online and gone with them.

But I thought cheese came from the grocery store, not cows.

The fish are biting and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

hi temp cheese just has most of the moisture removed. You can take regular cheese out of the package and place in a bowl in the refrigerator to dry out and make your own.

                      That's what I do.

If the owner sees me it's free

Man, that's a great idea. It would be much cheaper.

If you need it fast, LEM has it as well. Check their website.
