Small cutting torch set???

I’m needing a small cutting torch set for small projects at home. Currently have a broken Leaf spring on a trailer and the bolts are rusted so bad I can’t get them off with a wrench. I want to just cut them off with a torch. I don’t feel like I need huge bottles as it’s only a couple times a year I need to use one and it’s always something small like this.

I thought about it but where a couple of these are at will be a PITA to get to with a sawzall. I’m sure I could make it work but a torch will be much easier.

I have a little torch like that and find it very handy. I also have corded and cordless grinders and sawzalls.

But, cutting stuff with fire always makes me smile. AND its easier on your ears

If the wife has already okayed it, he don’t need a small set!!!

Go get yer self a full size set of gauges, big boy torch, and full size bottles!!!

I have that set, and it's very handy Problem is the bottles are always empty. If I had to do it again, I'd buy a bigger set of bottles.

These are known as a "Pony" cutting torch set. Great for quick small jobs because of portability of them. But run out of gas and O2 easily. There are a couple different branded sets out in the market.

I think mine is a Victor but I have the same little set.

They don't last forever but it's easy to throw in the truck and use when I need to.

I would be using a angle grinder with a cut off wheel. Nice clean and fast. A torch is very useful, but not the tool I would use for that job, unless that's all I had.

I would have no problem at all using a torch on those!knock the heavy scale off and get after it! Spray some liquid fire
