Skunk repellent?

My dad used to put moth balls under our portable building when the skunks would try to build dens under it. Don't recall if it worked though.

The last time I trapped a skunk and called animal control, the animal control guy got sprayed. Yes fence around the yard, but there are spots they could crawl under.

I'm not very smart, but I think I would fix the holes where they are crawling under.
