      How big is that notice??

I haven't really kept up, but recall the lawful notices being really big with like 1" Letters & has to be placed prominently at entrance.

I'd say yes as long as the font size is right. It looks to contain all the necessary wording and is in two languages with a contrasting to the background color.

I would say no... but.. Does it matter? Do people with ill intent follow the signs? Why should we?

Majority of shootings that get blasted on the news nowadays are at schools, which also happen to be gun free zones........ Make your own decision and do what you need to do.

                Always keep it concealed.

There is no section 61.11 of the Alcoholic Beverage Code....it goes from 61.10 to 61.111 (61.111 is about health risks for pregnant women btw).

                    From: https://www.dps.texas.gov/section/ha...g-handgun-faqs

A sign posted under §30.06, Texas Penal Code, must:

Include the following text in English and in Spanish:
                    "Pursuant to Section 30.06, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with a concealed handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter this property with a concealed handgun";
Appear in contrasting colors with block letters at least one inch in height; and
Be displayed in a conspicuous manner clearly visible to the public.

A sign posted under §30.07, Texas Penal Code, must:

Include the following text in English and in Spanish:

It doesn’t appear to be technically legal. The wording would have been correct (after reading it about a dozen times) however it crosses the wording from 30.06 and 30.07.

I swear it seems like someone was typing after looking at 30.06, then looked back at the law and finished typing 30.07.

It looks like the location intended to prohibit open carry but crossed up the wording from two different sections.

That makes it not enforceable in my opinion.

I think we need someone to be the test case.

They do actually cite to 30.07 in the sign

I have always been of the opinion that if it is concealed, then they will not know unless I need it. At which point I will take a trespass ticket in exchange for staying alive.
