I'm a grass fed person. It has more flavor than grain finished; which is done to be mild. Grass fed almost has more "gamey" flavor, but it's just more "beefy" to me.

I prefer grass fed, but eat more grain fed because it’s much cheaper.

            Grass-fed is healthier

I honestly have never thought about that before. Both I think. As long as it's medium rare.

Grew up in a beef cattle family. We processed a calf every year pretty much always off the pasture. Steaks were thin and cooked well done. Never understood the hoopla over eating steak. My life changed when parents of my first A&M roommate took us out to a nice steak house. Huge prime ribeye, medium rare. Thank you Jesus.

My taste is for marbled and 'buttery'. I can't stand the flavor of grass fed. Preference is a show calf that has been on feed for 12 months.

Grass fed ground and butter. Grain fed steaks. It's all better than pork.

Grain fed all day long. I`ve never processed or ate any grass fed beef, but the marbling is where the flavor is and grassfed lacks marbling. I`ve also talked to a few people that did not like grass fed. I`ve heard the guys in the video describe grass fed beef as having hint of liver flavor.

Grass fed or pasture are tough. Grew up in a cattle family. Grandfather would take a steer into the barn for about 60 days and restrict movement and feed grain- It would get lots of marble. I don’t care for grass fed leather steaks

I think I'm going to have to grain vs grass steak night now to decide.

Grain supplement w/grass graze and browse.

                              Milk fed calf/yearling slaughter.
Thats where I want to get my production cycle.
