Is grass fed beef better than grain fed beef?

I prefer whatever HEB has!
Guy I work with raises Wago beef, or so he says. They just eat grass or hay when he buys it. The couple he has butchered doesn’t have any marbling at all, like the ribeyes have less marbling than the cheapest cuts at HEB. He’s wondering if the people who sold him his 3/4 wago lied.

Wagyu- is just a breed of cattle capable of producing deep marbling throughout. But if you just have them on grass I would think they would be tough as well. I do know someone that raises them- been fortunate enough to get to eat a few steaks- He has them in small pens to restrict movement and feeds them out for 5-6 months if I remember right. Never had better honestly.

Done both with our cows. We prefer to finish on corn and feed. What matters to me is knowing what we inject them with and that it wasn't within 90 days of slaughter. We don't give a lot antibiotics unless really needed, so only 8 way and ivermec
